Our History
Vishwakarma Shilp Karyalay is a luxury stone architecture firm based in Jodhpur, Rajasthan, providing exceptional design and manufacturing services for both residential and commercial properties. Founded in 1953 by Kishan Lal ji Dhanerva, VSK began with a vision of shaping granite—an incredibly difficult stone to work with, even for machines. Today, after decades of dedication and hard work, the Vishwakarma family proudly creates customized, luxury stone products for our clients.
The late Bhagirath Ji Sharma (1933–2020) revolutionized stone art by merging visual aesthetics with the laws of physics, quite literally bringing stone to life. Among his many innovations is the rotating ball fountain, an engineering marvel that spins not by a motor, but through perfectly balanced water pressure. Drawing on years of experience, he engineered countless designs with a strict focus on strength, durability, and logistical practicality. Remarkably, he achieved all of this without modern computer technology—drafting intricate blueprints with just a pencil and paper at his desk, and using origami to model his visual concepts.
Combining engineering with design philosophies for lasting success
At our firm, integrity, innovation, and collaboration form the backbone of our design philosophy. By embracing creativity & sustainability, we craft transformative spaces that inspire, engage, and drive success for our clients.
